By accessing or using MergeReel ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MergeReel is a GitHub App that automatically generates video summaries of pull requests. The Service analyzes code diffs and creates visual walkthroughs that are posted back to your GitHub pull requests.
3. GitHub Integration
The Service integrates with GitHub through the GitHub App platform. By installing MergeReel, you authorize us to:
- Read pull request content and metadata
- Post comments on pull requests
- Create and update check runs
- Access repository metadata for installed repositories
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Maintain the security of your GitHub account
- Comply with GitHub's Terms of Service
5. Subscription and Payment
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MergeReel and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to your code and content. We do not claim ownership of any code processed through the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
